What I liked:
- Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal make a great team.
- Great supporting cast: Holly Hunter, Rosie Perez, Oscar Isaac, Lance Reddick, Emily Alyn Lind, Ned Eisenberg and Ving Rhames.
- It's a touching story. No one wants to see a school or their child fail.
What I didn't like:
- I think they needed to reveal Nona's past a little sooner to help explain some things.
- Not enough of Reddick, Perez or Rhames.
- It moved a little slow for my liking.
