What I liked:
- It's based on true events of Ron Woodroof's life.
- Jared Leto is absolutely amazing as Rayon. Great acting with immense dedication to the roll.
- Matthew McConaughey plays the part very well.
- Hair, Makeup and Costume Design are outstanding.
- It also stars Steve Zahn, Denis O'Hare, Kevin Rankin, and Griffin Dunne.
- You can appreciate the good that the internet can do after remembering how life was without it.
What I didn't like:
- Jennifer Garner's character sucked the life out of her scenes.
- I don't believe it is safe to lose that much weight in such a short amount of time just for a film role.
- The film itself is missing something to make this a great movie. It's good but not great.
Grade: B+
Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey were amazing. Not only was the movie entertaining and spot on but it opened the door to a life you may or may not know of and let you walk in their shoes. Educational via Hollywood style. Well worth seeing!
