What I liked:
- It's based on a real events that happened during World War II.
- Great acting by Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Stellan Skarsgard, Jeremy Irvine, Sam Reid, and Hiroyuki Sanada.
What I didn't like:
- I didn't like the way that they told the stories. The way that Eric and Patti met was rushed and confusing. They way that Eric and Finlay interacted as adults was weird. Even the way that they flashed back and forth between the present and the past was strange.
