What I liked:
- It was written and directed by John Carney (Once).
- Keira Knightley is lovely. Who knew that she could sing?
- Mark Ruffalo was his usual down on his luck, lovable guy.
- James Corden was adorable.
- Hailee Steinfeld was great.
- It also stars Cee lo Green, Mos Def, and Catherine Keener.
- Adam Levine has a lovely voice.
- It's a delightful story about new beginnings.
- Wonderful music throughout. The soundtrack should do well.
What I didn't like:
- While Adam can sing, he needs to take a few acting classes if he wants to do more movies. I'll cut him some slack for it being his first film but he was the weakest link in this spot on cast.
- If they can sell Greta's album for $1, why can't they sell this soundtrack for $1?! I call B.S.!
