The Way

What I liked:
  • A heartfelt story of hope, faith, and acceptance.
  • Exceptionally well casted.
  • Martin Sheen does a wonderful job taking you on this journey with him by knowing when to be emotional, when to be cynical, and when to be accepting.  He never looks forced to "act" in a scene, it all comes out naturally.
  • Emilio Estevez did a great job writing and directing this film.
  • It had an interesting soundtrack.  There was something for everyone.
  • No violence, sex, or crude language.  Except for a few drug references, this is a family friendly film.
  • I like the way that they are promoting it.  Sheen and Estevez are going on a bus tour around America, showing the film, talking to fans, and spreading the word.
What I didn't like:
***

Grade: A
