Men, Women & Children

What I liked:

  • It tells the hard truth about dangers of social media/the internet from a variety of perspectives.
  • Parents of young kids and teens should watch this to be aware of what is out there.  It will probably scare you.
  • The characters are well written and developed.
  • The cast is amazing: Jennifer Garner, Ansel Elgort, Kaitlyn Denver, Adam Sandler, Rosemarie DeWitt, Judy Greer, Dean Norris, Timothée Chalamet, Olivia Crocicchia, Elena Kampouris, Will Peltz, David Denman, Travis Tope, Dennis Haysbert, and J.K. Simmons.  Oh, and Emma Thompson's voice!
  • Elgort has to get some Rising Star of the Year Award at some Awards show this year.   Between this and The Fault In Our Stars...this kid is going places.

What I didn't like:
  • It's a little slow in the beginning.
  • These young girls are so skinny.  Too skinny.
  • Ashley Madison is a real website and I am sure that the eating disorder one is real too.
  • The Helen and her "friend"  meet up is written as one big cliche.
  • Because it is about the dangers of social media/the internet, it's very similar to last year's Disconnect.
