What I liked:
- Rooney Mara plays complicated characters very well.
- Jude Law was believable.
- It also stars Channing Tatum, Vinessa Shaw, Ann Dowd, Polly Draper, David Costabile, Mamie Gummer, and Marin Ireland.
- It was directed by Steven Soderbergh.
- There are enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting.
- The music compliments the story.
- It poses the question: If something bad happens to you, at what point do you turn that badness into goodness without actually turning bad yourself?
What I didn't like:
- You know that Catherine Zeta-Jones is in the film since she is on the poster but you don't see her much in the first 3/4 of the film leading you to believe that she is tied in with the ending somehow. It's almost a spoiler in itself.
