What I liked:
- Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña make for believable cops and have great chemistry together.
- Great supporting cast: Natalie Martinez, Anna Kendrick, David Harbour, Frank Grillo, America Ferrera, and Cody Horn.
- It is interesting and disturbing.
- Great dialogue between Gyllenhaal and Peña.
- A lot of different types of camera work is used. It makes you feel like you are almost there.
- There are times when things get pretty intense.
What I didn't like:
- They sort of explain why Taylor has a camera around him at all times but they don't explain why the Mexican gang members do. It seems weird.
