What I liked:
- It is an interesting behind the scenes look of how the film, Mary Poppins, came into existence.
- Emma Thompson is always wonderful.
- Tom Hanks made for a good Walt Disney.
- It has a talented supporting cast: Colin Farrell, Ruth Wilson, Paul Giamatti, Bradley Whitford, B.J. Novak, Jason Schwartzman, Kathy Baker, and Rachel Griffiths.
- Stay through the credits for a special treat.
What I didn't like:
- The trailer is deceiving. The movie is more of a drama than a lighthearted comedy. It's also not about Mary Poppins. The title is right, it is more about Mr. Banks.
- Somewhat spoilish: I wish she didn't have such daddy issues.
