What I liked:
- The opening animation sequence was delightful.
- Lily Collins is lovely.
- Armie Hammer was wonderful when under the Queen's spell.
- A nice supporting cast of Mare Winningham, Jordan Prentice, Mark Povinelli, Joe Gnoffo, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Ronald Lee Clark and Sean Bean!
- Creative costumes.
- There's a modern twist to the movie.
What I didn't like:
- Julia Roberts was just ok as the evil Queen.
- Nathan Lane wasn't used to his full potential.
- The age differences between Collins and Hammer and Hammer and Roberts make you remember why this is a fairy tale.
- This is not a movie for adults. The kids may like the lame jokes and theatrical fighting but it will bore anyone who knows better.
- The musical number at the end was not good.
