What I liked:
- The movie was filmed in Cleveland (although the story takes place in Detroit). It was cool the see the city in the background.
- It appears that Edward Burns found the fountain of youth because he looks great.
- Dr. Cox!
- Cicely Tyson!
What I didn't like:
- It starts out rough and never gets better.
- The dialogue was awful. Alex Cross is a character from a James Patterson series and perhaps if Patterson wrote the screenplay, it would have been better.
- Tyler Perry seemed uncomfortable in the role.
- The story was ok but I need more character development for Dr. Alex Cross to believe that he can connect these seemingly impossible dots together. You can't assume that I read the books that he is based off of or saw previous Alex Cross movies (Kiss the Girls, Along Came a Spider).
- Matthew Fox was either over acting or totally crazy during filming. Perhaps maybe a little of both.
- A lot of the fighting scenes were not believable.
- Giancarlo Espositio and Jean Reno did the best that they could with their characters but it wasn't enough.
- A bleach blonde Ingo Rademacher is not a good thing.
