If you like Twilight, you will probably like this. If you don't, well then...
What I liked:
- The score of the movie was good. It seem to fit the scenes without giving too much away.
- It looked nice. The red cloak against the white snow ground and the green trees. All very pretty. Although I am sure 90% of it was computer generated.
What I didn't like:
- I couldn't figure out what year this was allegedly set in. They lived like it was the middle ages but talked and looked very modern. Virginia Madsen had so much of her hair and makeup done that she looked out of place.
- Really, two guys fighting over a girl? Hasn't this been done?
- Torturing a mentally disabled boy? Not cool.
I had high hopes for this movie and it had so much potential yet it is just like Twilight but with a fair haired girl. If they had made it darker, sexier, smarter and gave it an R rating, it could have been much more entertaining and interesting.
