What I liked: First of all, I love this trailer. It sets the tone for this movie beautifully without giving too much away. The movie itself is an emotional rollercoaster going back and forth between the past and the present; good times and bad. Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling give heart wrenching performances. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. They made me feel like these were real people instead of characters being played by actors.
What I didn’t like: While the story does go back in time so that the audience could see where this relationship started, it skips over the middle and a couple key events that could help bring closure in the end.
This movie isn’t for everyone. It does have some dark moments and overall gloomy feel.
