Live Blogging the Grammys

• That is a lot of Divas on one stage.  Let's hope that Christina doesn't forget the lyrics.
• Florence kind of sticks out with the only light color dress.
• Martina has a beautiful set of pipes.
• It's not necessary for the announcer to tell us their names as they try to sing.  She's too slow and now she forgot to announce J-Hud.  
• Florence looks like she is having a ball up there.  It's refreshing that she hasn't become jaded with all of her success.
• Looks like Christina fell at the end.
• Yikes, Aretha.  
• Does Pat Monahan from Train own a comb?
• Ricky, those pants are still wrong.
• Lady Gaga's pointy shoulders are interesting.  Looks like her top is a little see-through.  Love the lighting effects.
• Congratulations to The Black Keys for winning Best Alternative Album!
• Hey ERY, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys won for Best Rap Song for Empire State of Mind.
• Isn't that Kate Hudson's baby daddy?
• Not loving this slow version of "Nothin' on You."
• This doo-wop version of "Grenade" is interesting.  It is choreographed very well.
• 2 awards in one hour?  It's going to be a long night.
• Cheetah/Leopard print is big this year.  Especially for guys.  Strange.
• What did they have to bleep out for Lady Gaga?!
• Her outfit can't be comfortable to sit in.
• She imagined Whitney Houston would be singing "Born This Way"?  Strange.
• Stop pimpin' out The David Letterman show and give out an award.
• Mumford and Sons look and sound good.
• Miley Cyrus with The Kings of Leon?  I find this stranger than Lea Michele and Clay Matthews.
• Elton John is black?!  Oh, wait, that's Cee Lo Green.
• Is Cee Lo forgetting words?
• The puppets are an interesting touch.
• I wish that Gwyneth Paltrow would have come out in an equally ridiculous outfit.  
• Real video footage from the Perry/Brand wedding?!  Interesting.
• It's nice to see Nicole Kidman enjoying herself and singing along to "Teenage Dreams."  
• Is John Mayer in the next Pirates movie?
• Not a fan of Norah Jones' hair.
• Mayer, Jones, and Urban sound great together.
• Would like it better if Rihanna was engulfed in flames.  Not literally but you get the idea.
• What was the point of Adam Levine at the piano?
• It looks like they were trying to hide Skylar Grey for some reason.  Can't hide that voice though.
• Can't believe Esperanza Spalding won best New Artist.  
• I find it funny that Mick Jagger comes on right after the "In Memoriam" montage.
• Well he just proved that he's not dead yet.  Wow, what a performance!
• Babs is going to put me to sleep.
• Love the choreography on "What's My Name".
• I think that there have been more commercial breaks than actual awards given out.  What's wrong with this picture?
• Forgive me but I don't understand Arcade Fire.
• Congrats again to The Black Keys.  From Billboard.biz: The Black Keys lead the pack with three awards (Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Performance for Duo/Group for "Tighten Up," and an award for Art Direction for their album "Brothers"
