Live Blogging the Red Carpet for the Oscars

Watching E!

• Giuliana Rancic's dress for the pre-pre show was ok from the top up.  Loved the print but the skirt was way too poofy for her.
• Jennifer Lawrence looks stunning in a simple and sleek red dress.  Love the hair and make up. Calvin Klein for sure.
• Ewwww...Melissa Leo...the lace over the gold....not liking that.  Not liking the hair.  She looked better yesterday at the Independent Spirit Awards in a lovely green dress.
• Vava voom Mila Kunis!  Beautiful color.  Sexy neckline.
• Why is Daphne Zuniga there?
• Hailee Steinfeld looks age appropriate.  The little headband seems a little too casual.
• Michelle Williams looks nice but I feel like I have seen her in this look before.  
• Do not care for Amy Adam's dress...I think it is the neckline with the necklace and the long hair.  Too much.
• Mandy Moore...how old are you trying to be?  65?  You are a young and beautiful.  That dress color is so blah on you.  The lipstick color is too much.  Those earings look like something a grandmother would wear.  I hope you change into something before you perform.
• Anne Hathaway looks beautiful in her red dress.  Can't wait to see all of her wardrobe changes during the ceremony.
• Mark Ruffalo's wife's dress is just too much.  Her name is Sunrise?  Things are making sense now.
• Cate Blanchett - love the hair!  The dress is growing on me.  Yep, love it.  It's art.
• I do like Jennifer Hudson's dress from the waist down.  The top is just ok.  Nice orange color.
• Scarlett Johansson - love the dress and hair.  Beautiful burgundy lace.
• Sharon Stone's hair was inspired by Marge Simpson.  Dress inspired by the Black Swan.
• Hillary Swank looks nice in a silver dress.
• Helena Bonham Carter looks nice!  Nothing crazy!
• Just got another look at Melissa Leo's dress and hair.  Worst dressed so far.
• Andrew Garfield!
• Nicole Kidman- Simple hairstyle, dress is nice from the waist up but the bottom is a little out of control.  And those shoes :(
• Helen Mirren looks great as usual.
• Javier Bardem looks like he gained some weight in the face.  Penelope Cruz looks great.  Beautiful red glittery dress.
• I think Red is the color of the night.
• Like Reece Witherspoon's dress but that hair...oh no.  Dress is classic Hollywood.
• Alright, alright, alright...Matthew McConaughey with his shirt on.  Camila looks lovely.
• Gwyneth Paltrow's dress is growing on me.  I love the fabric and the structure.
• Sandra Bullock looks great in her red Vera Wang gown.
• Rhea Durham is a beautiful woman but the hair and the dress are not great today.  What is going on with that top?
• Do not like RDJ's wife's dress.  It has no shape.
• I am ok with Natalie Portman's dress but not the hair.  Again, another shade of red (?  could be purple).  Do not like the earings, Tiffany or not.
• BTW Ryan, just because E! ends at 8pm doesn't mean that the Oscars start at 8pm.

Watching ABC

• Halle Berry looks great.  But again, feel like I have seen this look on her before.
• James Franco makes me laugh.  I don't think that many people get his sense of humor but I think he is great.  Can't wait to see him and Anne host.  Whoever this person is that is interviewing him is boring.
• I would LOVE to see Gwyneth and Jay-Z sing a duet!
