May not be appropriate for ages 18-35. Slightly amusing for everyone else.
What I liked:
What I didn't like:
- A Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks romantic comedy this was not.
- There was no romantic chemistry between Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks. It's like they were banking on us believing that two A list starts should be together because they tell us so.
- Why would these two be attracted to each other? Did the attraction happen off camera because they don't have that scene where the viewer thinks to themselves, "yes, I want to root for these two to get together."
- The story had so many missing pieces and parts that it just fell flat.
- It wasn't funny.
- Rita Wilson should not be a blonde.
- Julia's wardrobe was boring. It's like they went to one store and said "I'll take this shirt dress in every color!"
- Not enough Pam Grier, Ian Gomez, or Bryan Cranston.
- Julia's million dollar smile and laugh don't show up until halfway through the film.
- It makes me wonder how much money was wasted on making this film that could have been used to fun a couple more interesting independent films.
