- Does anyone else think that it is weird that TBS/TNT only have Red Carpet coverage online while E! has a show on TV? The actual awards will air on TBS/TNT yet they are showing Get Smart and The Dark Knight.
- I dislike Giuliana Rancic.
- What is going on with Scott Bakula's hair?
- I like Hailee Steinfeld's dress. Very young and hip.
- Ditto for Jennifer Lawrence.
- Lips is in the house!
- I can't believe that Giuliana interrupts Hailee for Chord Overstreet. Oscar nominee or Glee star? Hmmm...
- I would love to see Melissa Leo in some color. Black at the Golden Globes and silver at the SAG awards...she always looks nice but could look better. Maybe she is saving it for the Oscars.
- "On an airplane..." love Jesse Eisenberg.
- Sarah Hyland is gorgeous.
- Ditto for Julianna Marguilies.
- Who is the host on TBS.com? Her purple dress is awful.
- The Glee girls look nice. Big improvement over the Golden Globes.
- Julie Bowen, I have a love/hate relationship with you.
- Love Mila Kunis' dress. Print is in!
- Love the color of Sofia Vergara's dress.
- Love the texture/print of Jenna Fischer's dress.
- Never thought that I would say this but I miss Seacrest.
- Giuliana and John K are having a horrible interview.
- Paz de la Huerta has strange facial features.
- Jane Lynch - bad dress choice.
- I like January Jones' dress but not the hair. Too overdone. Needs to be a little more relaxed.
- Lea Michelle is totally going to have a wardrobe malfunction.
- Love Natalie Portman's dress. Hair is too stiff.
- Mmmm Jon Hamm.
- Tina Fey looks fantastic!
- Love Nicole Kidman's dress and hair s but she needs to get rid of the necklace.
- Julia Stiles is lovely.
- Not loving Winona Ryder's dress. Hate the hair.
- Not a fan of Amy Adam's look.
- Mmmm James Franco.
- Helena Bonham Carter...I just don't get you.
- Love JT's tie.
- Not a fan of Christina Hendrick's look. I miss Joannie.
- Did Giuliana just say Indian Giver?!
- Claire Danes looks lovely.
- Robin Wright (Penn?) looks great.

The Company Men
Unless you go to see movies in a theater or watch late night talk shows, you probably have never heard of this film. I am not sure why the studio isn’t promoting this. I don’t think that I have seen one commercial for it and it’s a shame because it’s a movie that a lot of people can relate to.
What I liked: Outstanding cast – Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Cooper, Kevin Costner, Maria Bello, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Craig T. Nelson give quality performances. The characters are very relatable, having both strengths and weaknesses.
The story is very relevant to today which could be difficult to watch or possibly relive. Having said that, it can also make you feel grateful for what you have.
What I didn’t like: The trailer tells you everything that you need to know about this movie and more. The film itself moved a little slow for me. And it really only depicts the white collar unemployment woes while only briefly touches blue collar issues. This in itself isn’t a bad point but it is worth noting before seeing the movie. It might be hard for an unemployed person who made $30K to feel any sympathy for an unemployed character who made $120K plus bonuses.

Razzie Nominations
http://razzies.com/history/31stNoms.asp
So the Razzie Nominations came out today. Overall, a good list, although I think they could have added a few more to Worst Picture like this, this, or this. I have a feeling that this will be Jennifer Aniston's year to get an award, just not the one she would like. Let's hope that she can be classy and show up to accept it.

No Strings Attached
What I liked: For a romantic comedy, this movie was pretty good.
- It has a fun soundtrack. It starts off old school with Color Me Bad and Outkast. Then it comes back to the present with Phoenix and The Temper Trap. What’s not to love?
- Natalie Portman is the girl that you want or want to be. She’s funny, smart, and sexy. Her character has flaws but overall is very relatable.
- Ashton Kutcher is pretty adorable in this movie. If you liked him in A Lot Like Love, you will like him in this.
- Kevin Kline!
- I like romantic comedies that are rated PG-13 or R. It usually means that the dialogue is more true to life as oppose to a PG ”RomCom” that makes everyone sound like they live in a Disney movie.
What I didn’t like: It was a bit predictable and had your typical clichés…but isn’t that what romantic comedies are all about?

Blue Valentine
What I liked: First of all, I love this trailer. It sets the tone for this movie beautifully without giving too much away. The movie itself is an emotional rollercoaster going back and forth between the past and the present; good times and bad. Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling give heart wrenching performances. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. They made me feel like these were real people instead of characters being played by actors.
What I didn’t like: While the story does go back in time so that the audience could see where this relationship started, it skips over the middle and a couple key events that could help bring closure in the end.
This movie isn’t for everyone. It does have some dark moments and overall gloomy feel.

Rabbit Hole
What I liked: I was expecting this movie to be a completely depressing film and was surprised to find that it provided a lot of hope and even a few laughs. Nicole Kidman gives an amazing performance. Aaron Eckhart compliments her nicely. Sandra Oh did not remind me of her Grey’s Anatomy character and I was very impressed by Miles Teller and can’t wait to see what the future hold for him.
The story was interesting and gave multiple illustrations of ways to deal with the pain that these characters had. I found the ending to be particularly satisfying.
What I didn’t like: The story was told in an interesting way but to fully appreciate it, you have to have some idea of what this movie is about. If you walk into this blindly, you will be lost for a while.

The Dilemma
I wasn’t expecting much from this movie but since it was a Ron Howard/Brian Grazer film, I had hope. That being said…
What I liked:
- The Black Keys had two songs featured in the film.
- I am not a big Jennifer Connelly fan but I liked her in this.
- There was just the right amount of Kevin James. I am not a fan so a little goes a long way.
- There was an amusing scene where the Vince Vaughn’s character is asking people their opinions on when to tell a friend that his girl is cheating on him. Vaughn’s character uses the Chicago Bulls as an example and says something like “If Noah found out that Derek Rose’s girl was cheating on him, should Noah tell him?” Someone asked “is it the playoffs?” This made me think of the LBJ/Gloria/D. West/Game 5 rumors so I couldn't help but laugh.
What I didn’t like:
- For a comedy, it wasn't funny. Some people in the audience laughed, but besides for the basketball comment, I found no humor in it.
- The storyline was frustrating.
- Winona Ryder was annoying.
- The stylist must have been blind. They put Vaughn in all of these drab suits that did not look good on him. He has a beer belly. You don’t have him button his suit jacket. It just makes it worse.
- Channing Tatum was all over the place and had some weird hair thing going on. It was hard to even see him as a nice piece of eye candy.
- Queen Latifah’s character was over the top and not in a good way.

Thank you Rolling Stone
I just saw that Rolling Stone Magazine has posted the 10 Worst Films of 2010. I agree with 90% of their picks, especially #1 and #2. I would have left out Eat, Pray, Love and substituted in any of the following: How Do You Know, Gulliver's Travels, or Morning Glory.

The King's Speech
What I liked: And the Oscar goes to....Colin Firth. Firth is outstanding in this film. He took this role to an emotional level that I wasn't expecting. It helped that he had a wonderful supporting actor to play off of. Geoffrey Rush was excellent. I am having a hard time deciding if the Best Supporting Actor Oscar should go to him or Christian Bale. It's a tight race. I am also having a hard time deciding if The King's Speech or The Social Network will win Best Picture. I love them both, just in different ways.
What I didn't like: This movie is rated R for language. Firth says a few swear words in some speech exercises. That's it. That's B.S. Our rating system is distorted. And since that is the only negative thing about this movie...
